Against the backdrop of evolving global sourcing strategies, demand for high-quality baby product suppliers from China continues to grow among international buyers seeking compliant, scalable, and innovation-driven manufacturing partners. This trend reflects a broader shift toward direct factory engagement and verified supply chain sourcing across global baby product markets.
Recently, the China Toy & Juvenile Products Association (CTJPA) organized a delegation of 9 overseas buyers to visit China’s Zhongshan baby product industrial cluster for targeted factory tours and sourcing discussions. Backed by data-driven buyer profiling and real procurement requirements, the initiative enabled structured engagement between international buyers and local manufacturers, improving sourcing efficiency and resulting in multiple early-stage commercial cooperation opportunities.
01 Targeted Matchmaking Drives Early-Stage Cooperation Among Participating Companies
The buyer delegation visited 10 local baby product manufacturers in Zhongshan, including Zhongshan Baobaohao and Zhongshan Mater Baby.
Company sales team hosted the delegation through showrooms, R&D facilities, and production lines, providing an overview of product development capabilities and manufacturing processes.
Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on key sourcing topics, including product compliance standards, overseas market access requirements, customized OEM/ODM development, and potential joint marketing cooperation.
Impressed by the R&D capabilities and quality control systems of Zhongshan manufacturers, 4 overseas buyers established initial cooperation intentions with five local enterprises during the visit.

In addition, 5 buyers are currently progressing through inquiry, quotation comparison, and sample evaluation stages.
Their procurement requirements are clearly defined, with substantial order potential, laying the groundwork for future order conversion and continued commercial engagement.
02 Buyer Profiling Enhances Sourcing Efficiency
In preparation for the sourcing program, CTJPA established structured buyer profiles covering corporate background, target markets, procurement categories, volume expectations, compliance requirements, and product localization needs.
The nine participating buyers span key global markets, including the United Kingdom, broader Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, Central Asia, Russia, and North Asia. Their sourcing focus remains on core baby product categories such as strollers, infant beds, children’s carriages, baby rockers, and baby carriers.
With typical order volumes ranging from 500 to 5,000 units per SKU, the delegation reflects a diversified buyer mix, including traditional importers, cross-border e-commerce platforms, and brand procurement teams across multiple distribution channels.

03 Selecting Qualified Manufacturers in Zhongshan Baby Products Cluster
With a clear understanding of buyer requirements, CTJPA focused on identifying qualified manufacturers capable of supporting international sourcing needs.
As a core baby product industrial cluster in China, Zhongshan is supported by a fully integrated supply chain ecosystem and a strong base of export-oriented manufacturers with proven global market competitiveness.
Participating enterprises were selected based on a capability-driven evaluation framework, covering R&D strength, production capacity, international certifications, intellectual property portfolios, and flexible OEM/ODM customization capabilities.

The industry has shifted from volume-based export to value-added manufacturing, supported by a mature supply chain ecosystem and extensive experience in serving global buyers.
As a result, local manufacturers are capable of handling complex and large-scale procurement requirements with stable quality and delivery performance.

Conclusion
This factory visit and sourcing program further reinforces CTJPA’s role as a facilitator of structured industry engagement and efficient supply-demand matching within China’s baby product sector.
The initiative followed an end-to-end sourcing framework, spanning buyer profiling, supplier selection, on-site factory engagement, and post-visit coordination, supported by coordinated efforts among multiple stakeholders.
